Michael L Grube II
Chief Executive Officer
Michael has been overseeing executive functions and operations in anesthesia since 2002. He works directly with facility administration to ensure all levels of expectations are being exceeded. He also works with internal departments to guarantee the highest level of service is consistent and unwavering.
Ami Grube
Chief Financial Officer
Ami maintains the financial integrity of our practice. She works directly with facility leadership, anesthesia providers and our billing company to ensure all financial functions are safeguarded. In addition to overseeing the financial well-being of the practice, she is responsible for ensuring all anesthesia services are being carried out above the level of industry standards. This includes ensuring MACRA reporting is valuable and quality improvement plans are executed with patient care in the forefront.
Alecia Shaughnessy
Chief of Recruitment
Alecia has been our chief of recruitment since 2004. Her ability to source providers and create lasting relationships to provide consistency and reliability, has contributed to the success of CPR Anesthesia. She continues to grow the practice with quality anesthesia professionals through referrals and multiple outlets.
Karen Pence
Business Development Director
Karen has 30 years of experience in the management field. With an extensive background working with world-class establishments like Walt Disney World, Morton’s Steakhouse, and McCormick & Schmick’s Seafood Restaurant.
She is responsible for overseeing contractual responsibilities and day-to-day operational efficiencies, as well as managing the company’s expansion into emerging markets.
Duane Reed

Duane has been in love with helping individuals and companies transform through consulting, coaching, and training since 1982. He has worked with notable organizations such as NASA, U.S. Army Recruiters, Microsoft, IBM, Ford Motor Company, and hundreds of other recognizable logos ranging from Fortune 50 companies to small businesses.
In 2007, Duane created CEO Focus Denver, a peer group advisory board for small-business owners with annual revenues ranging from $1M to $25M. This is where he met the owners of CPR Anesthesia. Duane has great respect for CPR’s current ownership team, Ami and Michael Grube II. They work hard and smart, have endured changes and challenges of all kinds and have created an amazing company dedicated to serving others.
